I had a college professor who was a devotee of Wilhelm Reich. Story goes that he claimed as his office an octagonal room at the top of the tower of the tallest building on campus. He would then spend hours sitting in his Orgonne box up there. I guess the box is able to concentrate more sexual energy the higher it is situated. By the time I had him as a teacher, he had a different office. Now he's dead.
I always wondered what it would have been like to talk about Rousseau with him while he sat in his box. I wonder if he sat naked?
